Meet Tyndall’s scientists and explore our research through a series of online demonstrations and hands on activities from the comfort of your own home.
Make an illuminated card and a spectroscope with live, online help from researchers at Tyndall National Institute! Our scientists will present some of their amazing research through short demonstration sessions online. You will also get the opportunity to learn about electronics and photonics (the science of light) through two hands on activity sessions. During the hands on activities, you’ll create your own fully functioning paper circuit which will light up one of our Tyndall greeting cards. You’ll also create your own spectroscope, a device that breaks up white light into the colours of the rainbow.
There’s something for adults and children alike to enjoy so register now to join in from 5.30pm to 7pm on Friday the 18th of September.
Register early, places are limited for this FREE event. The event login details and materials for the hands on activities will be sent to you closer to the event date.
