A reading by three great Cork authors:

Billy Ramsell was born in Cork in 1977 and educated at the North Monastery and UCC. He has published two collections with Dedalus Press, Complicated Pleasures in 2007 and The Architect’s Dream of Winter in 2013, which was shortlisted for the Irish Times Poetry Now Award.
He was awarded the Chair of Ireland Bursary for 2013 and the Poetry Ireland Residency Bursary for 2015. He has been invited to read his work at many festivals and literary events around the world. He lives in Cork where he co-runs an educational publishing company.

Niamh Prior’s fiction and poetry has appeared in journals including The Penny Dreadful, Southword and The Stinging Fly. Her poetry has been shortlistedin competitions including The Patrick Kavanagh Award, Cúirt New Writing Prize and The Dermot Healy Award. She was the overall winner of the 2016 iYeats International Poetry Competition. She is currently completing a PhD in Creative Writing at UCC, funded by a Government of Ireland Postgraduate Scholarship from the Irish Research Council.

Alison Driscoll is a poet and short story writer from Cork. She has just completed an MA Creative Writing in UCC. Her work has been featured online and in print in the likes of Quarryman, Headstuff and Poethead. She has been listed for the Over the Edge New Writer of the Year Award and the Fish Publishing International Poetry Prize.
