Join us for readings by three acclaimed authors with strong UCC connections.

Welsh author Carys Davies is the 2018 Frank O’Connor International Fellow, and she won the last Frank O’Connor International Short Story Prize in 2015 with her collection The Redemption of Galen Pike. www.carysdavies.net

Short story writer and co-founder of Fiction at the Friary, Danielle McLaughlin, is this year’s UCC’s writer in residence. She has published widely including in The New Yorker, The Irish Times, and The Stinging Fly. Her first collection Dinosaurs on Other Planets won the Saboteur Best Short Fiction Award in 2016. www.daniellemclaughlin.ie
