Cork Public Museum will remain open until 8pm to allow visitors to explore the historical and archaeological heritage of Cork. Enjoy our most recent exhibition on Viking Cork and the excavations at the former Beamish & Crawford site.

Explore the many wonderful conserved wooden artefacts as well as a replicate Viking house that give us important insights and understanding of how Cork’s earliest inhabitants reclaimed the land from the marsh, laying the foundations on which modern Cork developed and grew.
