Visit the lovely interior of St. Anne’s Church, built in 1722 – one of the oldest chuches in continuous use in the city and one of it’s most iconic. View the baptismal font from 1629, the beautiful stained glass windows, see our collection of old books and listen to the church organ being played. Our guides and members of the congregation will be on hand to share the history of the church and answer any questions. We will also have church organist, Victor Sullivan, playing the beautiful church organ which dates from the mid 1800’s.

Cork Chamber Choir is thrilled to be returning to St Anne’s Church, Shandon as part of the Cork Culture Night 2017 programme.

The short programme features a varied mix of choral and early music from the 16th century and two pieces from the 19th Century composed by Dublin born Charles Villiers Stanford. Cork Chamber Choir was founded in 2005 and is now under the leadership of Musical Director Tom Crowley.
