5pm – Alternative techniques for advancing your music literacy; Workshop presented by Music Generation Cork City in partnership with Cork Academy of Music. Book via Eventbrite

6.30pm – Frankenstein: A dramatic excerpt performed by Ocean of Notions Theatre to celebrate the 200 anniversary of Mary Shelley’s book. ISL interpreted.

7pm – A reading from Patrick Galvin by Mary Fitz-Gerald

7.15pm – Music session with local singer/songwriter Ger O’Sullivan

7.45pm – Cearta scríbhneoireachta do mhná: an troid, 1918 go 2018. Taispeántas trí mheán na Gaeilge a thugann chun suntais saothair bhanscríbhneoirí ón gcéad seo caite gur deineadh cinsireacht orthu, mar shampla, Maura Laverty, Norah Holt, Kate O’Brien agus Edna O’Brien. 8pm – Garth Cartwright; music journalist and author will be in conversation with Sheena Crowley, Crowley’s Musician Centre and will read from his new book, ‘Going for a Song’ with a special focus on Rory Gallagher’s vinyl.

9pm – Poetry Collections Launch: Join us for the launch of ‘The White Silhoutte’ by James Harpur and ‘Dear Pilgrims’ by John F. Deane, founder of Poetry Ireland. Both works are published by Carcanet.
